Miaoli Zhuolan Shuiyu Ni Guang GC Camping Area

This time, my friends and I went car camping at Shuiyu Ni Guang French Manor in Zhuolan, Miaoli. The romantic and classical private manor is filled with a sense of ceremony everywhere. The campsite features rows of magnificent bald cypress trees, a sensory flower garden, and picturesque small cabins.

The VIP Garden is a private area that includes a French-style cottage, a garden terrace, and a relaxing large lawn.

Shuiyu Ni Guang GC is not far from the town center of Zhuolan, so you can stop by PX Mart or a convenience store for supplies before entering the campsite, which is about a 7-10 minute drive away. Thanks to the campsite owner's unique space design, once you enter the campsite, you can fully experience the feeling of a secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle. It's a great campsite that combines convenience with beautiful scenery.

The management and privacy protection at Shuiyu Ni Guang are very strict. It operates on a reservation-only basis and is not open to the public. Even visitors are charged an entry fee, reflecting the owner's commitment and the consensus among seasoned campers. Entry and exit times differ on weekends and holidays, and regardless of when you plan to enter, you must make a reservation with Shuiyu Ni Guang's coordinator in advance. This ensures dedicated service and helps filter out campers who prefer to gather in large groups and make noise.

The campsite offers comprehensive services, including parking spaces, charging stations, and separate wet and dry bathroom facilities. Since the owner also runs a golf business, the grass in the camping area is covered with super comfortable golf course turf. The grounds are regularly maintained each year, so even in the event of rain, drainage is not an issue. Water dispensers and refrigerators are located at the main camp office, right next to the campsite, making them very convenient.

Additionally, the park offers a no-tent-setup service and the option to enjoy the owner's special breakfast (limited availability), which requires booking a week in advance. If you're interested, be sure to make a reservation early!

Within the campsite, there are two towering structures reminiscent of castles from fairy tales, which are actually ultra-luxurious bathrooms. Each independent bathroom features separate wet and dry areas (using one-to-one Sakura constant temperature water heaters, providing hot water 24 hours a day). The bathrooms are bright and well-ventilated, and even better, there are staff members regularly cleaning and maintaining them. You can immediately feel the care and sincerity upon entering. The open dressing tables in the hallway also have hairdryers, which is both thoughtful and convenient.

Personally, I think the best aspect is the owner's philosophy. Over the long-term operation, the owner has encountered various situations and has many stories to share. However, for us car campers, the best adjustment is the spaciousness of the campsites. Originally able to accommodate 40 tents, the space now only hosts 18 tents. This change aims to provide each camper with a more comfortable space and to ensure better management and service. As a result, we can leisurely set up and decorate our site. Upon arrival, we immediately turned on the air conditioning, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed camping experience even in the scorching summer.

★ For bookings (Friday) 2 days and 1 night camping, please leave the venue before 11:00 am on Saturday to provide Saturday reservations.

★ Early Check-in on Friday (or the night before) for those staying the next day: Entry is allowed from 16:30 to 22:00, with a fee of 800 TWD per tent (charged on-site). Arrivals before 16:00 will be charged for a full day. Please complete setup by 23:00 to avoid disturbing other campers who are already asleep. Please message the coordinator 3-5 days before your camping date to confirm campsite availability.
